The Caverners continually leave audiences screaming, stamping their feet and yelling for more! Every part of their show is authentically recreated, right down to their Liverpool accents.

King Eddy Pre-Launch Party draws a crowd

More than 400 guests showed up recently at the Vanity Fair Ballroom in Toronto’s Le Méridien King Edward Hotel for a retro-themed party to celebrate the new owners’ plans for refurbishing the entire building. King Edward Realty Inc., comprised of partners Dundee Realty Corporation, Alex Shnaider, Skyline International Development Inc., and Serruya Realty Group Inc., brought back the best of the 1960s and 1970s to highlight some of The King Eddy’s most exciting times.
Kylemore Communities raises $150,000 for charities

On Friday, May 7th, 2010, Kylemore Communities hosted their Annual Charity Awards at their head office in Markham, Ontario, and dolled out $150,000 to worthy causes. Money was raised through donations as well as community fundraising initiatives, including the Kylemore Charity Golf Tournament.
Monarch named 2010 Home Builder of the Year

The Monarch Group has been named 2010 Home Builder of the Year by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD) at the 30th Annual BILD Awards, which were held on April 30, 2010.
The Home Builder of the Year award was established by BILD in 1998 to recognize the builder who sets the standard for the rest of the industry by their leadership in improving the overall image of the industry. The award is based on quality, service and customer commitment from the moment the agreement of purchase and sale is signed right through to post-closing service period. The winner is determined based on the Association’s survey of the builder’s recent occupants in various communities.

CHBA honours top new home builders

This month the Canadian Home Builders’ Association recognized the outstanding leadership and accomplishments of its members at the 67th CHBN National Conference.
Highlights include:
- The Beaver Award, presented to the outstanding builder member of the year, was presented to Don Doolan of the CHBA-Calgary region.
- The prestigious Gordon S. Shipp Award was presented to John Hrynkoq of the CHBA-Edmonton region in recognition of leadership, dedication and continuous lengthy service to the Canadian Home Builders’ Association at the national level
- The R-2000 Award was presented to Matthew Sachs of the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association for his outstanding contribution to energy efficient housing
- Mike Martin of the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association was presented with the Canadian Renovators’ Council Award for a significant contribution to the renovation industry and leadership within the CHBA
